Dark black in color and impenetrable to light. There's a fingernail of brown sitting on top. The aroma is comprised of dark roasted barley and piney hops. I taste a nice dark and rich blend of dark roasted barley, piney hops, and coffee. The mouth is smooth and creamy.

Excellent stout. Nose and palate are A ton of roasted malt which mixes well with a heavy flavor of Rich espresso. Chocolate and earthy notes. Rich, creamy mouthfeel. A lingering espresso flavor. Excellent beer.

Truly good Irish style American made beer. Complex nutty toasty malt balance. Warms to room temperature nicely over a long 1 hour drink.

Poured into stout glass. It pours almost jet black with a thin, mocha-colored head and lacing that dissipated quickly. It smells of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and burnt coffee. The taste is very bitter with burnt coffee grounds, nuts, baker's chocolate, and just a hint of vanilla at the finish. There is also a fairly strong hop presence. This stout is rather thin, with low carbonation. It's easy to drink with a moderate ABV of 6.8% To me, it drinks more like a porter than a stout. It was good but I tend to like stouts with more complex taste profiles.

Pours almost like an imperial stout, very dark brown and thick, khaki colored head. Roasted malts, dark cocoa, and some light hoppiness add to an interesting nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied surprisingly enough. Finishes with roast and cocoa. Interesting stout, very good, done well.

This is an excellent stout with big roasty flavors, but not a huge body to it. Nice notes of chocolate and coffee smooth it out and wanting more! A nice offering
