Update 2015: More to love about Timberlane. They have in-house taps and growler fills and a much larger selection of craft beers. Worthy of a visit if in the area.

Fast, convenient and friendly. They will make sure you get the beers you want. They are also knowledgeable about what is available and will gladly order what you want. Whatever is available in Arkansas can be had at Timberlane. Decent selection on hand, even by metropolitan standards. Quite a few imports and some seasonals such as Pyramid Snow Cap and all Diamond Bear regulars and seasonals. Most importantly, they won't gouge you like the competition who apparently believe in the "sinner's upcharge". The #1 beer store in the area. The only thing to watch out for is old beer in the coolers. I have on at least one occasion bought a 6-pack past its prime--but that is not unusual here in the beer wasteland.

Stopped in here on my way from Louisiana to Oklahoma. Just a mile or two off of US highway 82. It's a clean and well kept store. Selection was ok, but nothing to get excited about. I was hoping for a larger selection of Arkansas beers. There is a singles section, a big plus. Prices were fair. My only contact with staff was at checkout, and she seemed a bit bored and indifferent. I don't know how other places in the area are, this place is not bad, but not worth traveling any great distance to get to.

Okay, I went to this store during my evacuation from Hurricane Gustav. It's in a little town called El Dorado aka Beer Wasteland. This was a nice little bit of heaven in the town. They have about 200-300 beers. Some stand outs that I saw were Diamond Bear, New Belgium, Rogue and Boulevard. They also had some descent imports such as Youngs Chocolate Stout. If you ever find yourself in this town don't bother going anywhere else just find this place and head on over. The two owners working were great guys and more than willing to help. Hell, one guy was reading an issue of BA as I walked in.
