I stopped in after a tour at Dogfish Head Brewery. The beer coolers are straight back and directly to the right is a small shelf with at least 30 - 40 beers. The selection is pretty good with English, Belgian, German and U.s. craft brews represented.

They had plenty of Dogfish Head including some special releases like Pangaea and Burton Baton. There was Brooklyn Local 1, Black Sheep ale, Wychwood beers and Delerium Tremens along w/ Chimay not to mention Stone and Rogue.

The quality level of the store is very good as it is clean, well lit, organized and the service also rates highly as I was greeted warmly with a smile. I can't say the prices were out of line so I give Oak Creek a reasonable rating price-wise. I think the place is decent and consider it worthy.

I was in the area and decided a small detour off of Rt 1 was in order so I could check this place out. Unfortunately, I'm not so sure it was really worth it. When you enter the store (and it is a nice looking store) the beer is straight back. There are about a dozen or so door of the cooler dedicated to beer and about a dozen feet of shelf space to the right for warm selections. They had most of the currently available DFH brews, some Rogue, some imports, but not a lot else. I was surprised to not see any Stone or Southern Tier. The prices were average for some things, but high on others. Sometimes $1-2 higher than what I pay for the same bottle up in the northern part of DE. I think this place has a lot of potential, and hopefully they'll increase their beer selection in order to get the beer lovers traveling to the beach to make the turn off of Rt 1 to visit the store instead of continuing on to Cape or Outlet Liquors.
