- ale brewed with pumpkin and spices.
A: Deep burgundy-brown exit from the bottle. The head needs alot of help to form, walnut colored, thin, skimy, and refuses to hold much. Lacing is non-evident.
S: Lightly toasted pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, pie crust and some dusting of nutmeg. Average strength.
T: Flavor is alcohol forward, at 6.5%. Warming alcohol laced pumpkin, toasted bread, molasses, cinnamon spicing with a caramelized sweetness. Strong cloves, spicy with a hint of warm caramel-apple alcohol finish.
M: syrupy, pretty full bodied, spicy alcohol content, cinnamon warmth and a good rate of carbonation factor.
O: Overall some natural pumpkin content, some spice, and a heaping of alcohol perfect for that chilly october evening camping around the fire pit. Decent balance, not overly spiced, a good thing, more naturally balanced for ease of consumption, with exception of noticeable alcohol which at times seems to distract from the pumpkin element. Really like the pumpkin flavor and how things are more natural and in harmony then forced spicing.

Had on tap at Lake placid brewing. Pours clear, copper in color with minimal head. Taste is big brown sugar, cinnamon and clove with pumpernickel bread. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Delicious on tap. Maybe second only to Pumpking in term of pumpkin beers I have had in a bit due to the strength of the base beer. Great way to end this trip up.
