From a bottle, pours a light brown with a thin wispy head.

The nose is chocolate, oats, a little roasted barley, cracker, toasted malt. The flavor is pretty enjoyable, toasted oats, bitter hop content, milk chocolate. It is very creamy with a smooth chalky finish.

Overall, this is pretty good and better than I was expecting. I could drink this again.

Chocolate, caramel, coffee, and some some roasted malts. A nice vanilla sweetness. Malty and smooth. Solid porter.

Bottle shared by nimbleprop. Thanks man. Dark brown body with a broken tan head. Mild aroma - brown bread, malt. Hints of milk chocolate. Mild sweetness. Pretty tasty, albeit subtle. Perhaps this could be a bit more bold / assertive.

Dark brown color with lots of thick beige head with long retention and leaving laces.
Strong aroma of coffee and dark chocolate from its toasted malts.
Taste follows nose, clear coffee and dark chocolate notes. Dry and bitter aftertaste with its long lasting residual taste.
Light body with good carbonation with tiny bubbles.
Worth trying, it has quite clear notes of coffee without any addition, and more than other beers so called Coffee Porters.

poured 12oz bottle into a snifter. Poured into snifter. Dark cola brown, with a 1.5 finger tan head. Leaves a collar around glass and there are blobs of lacing. Some roasted malt that gives a coffee like scent, nuttiness, and a light sweet cola scent. Straight forward roasted malts, with light chocolate, caramel, and cola sweetness. Not overly sweet, but there is no bitter component to the taste. Enjoyable.

This beer is very thin and just sort of blah and undertones overall, nothing offensive but just really boring. I'd like a lot more in terms of flavor and body.

Pours a dark Amber color. Aroma is a nice toasted malt with a slightly sweet chocolate / caramel note. Flavor is roasty with hints of chocolate. Has a bit of a light body to it. Overall very solid.

Sessioned many of these the other night at the BBC Andino along with a few Monserrate Rojas in between. This beer arrived in an imperial pint with a nice tan head to the top of the glass. Smell is malty but with a good hop background. Taste is great. Very silky smooth mouthfeel. Roasted malts but definitely enough hopping to provide a balance to this porter. Of all beers served at BBC, this is by far my favorite. Tastes strikingly like my last homebrew porter, and that's a great thing!

After several weeks of ordering this beer on a daily basis, i've decided to review it again. It pours a very dark brown/black and rather turbulent tone with a small but very thick, creamy tan head. The smell gives off an intense fruityness alongside some chocolate aromas and a roasted feel. The taste, a mixture of flavours, starts of with some carbonation, and roasted coffee with much of the fruityness, alongside a softer perception of the chocolate at the end which accompanies a very strong bitterness which however blends in in a very nice way. The mouthfeel is not bad at all but perhaps this isn't a one-after-another sort of beer, however, it is very enjoyable for a couple of pints due to its great amount of different flavours present.
