This particular market of choice struck me as very similar (both in size and selection) to the one out on Franklin, near the university. While it (the selection) is still pretty good, on the other hand it pales in comparison to what's available at the MofC stores on Wilakenzie and Williamette. I didn't see any limited or special release stuff (no Deschutes reserve series, no Full Sail black gold, no Alesmith at all, but I did spot a single bottle of RR suppication), and the import selection seemed rather limited as well. However, there is still a nice selection of craft beer here, mostly focusing on local and regional breweries (Washington, Oregon and California). As with other MofC's I've been to, most of the beer selection is refrigerated, which is something I appreciate (there was a small display of local products - Ninkasi, Oakshire and the like - that weren't refrigerated).

Service here is pretty much non-existent, which is about what I expected based on my visits to other MofC stores. This is a grocery store, and even if there is an onsite wine/beer guy (as there is at the West Linn store), he/she is rarely around to assist anyone. However, as with other MofC's, the staff here is unfailingly pleasant and polite, and willing to answer any question you might have (if they know the answer to it - don't expect a Belmont Station level of knowledge, or even a John's Marketplace level). Prices looked to be about the norm for the area, with a few items on sale as well.

Shrug. This probably isn't a BA destination, but is a high quality grocery store with a decent beer selection, catering to what appears to be an increasingly trendy and affluent local neighborhood. Nothing wrong with that...

Have now been to all 4 MofC's in Eugene. This and the one out on Franklin are clearly the least impressive of the bunch, with the one's on Williamette and Wilakenzie clearly the standouts (for pretty much everything, but especially beer and wine).

I work right near this place, so I come in every so often to check their latest selection of beer choices. They usually have up to date beer, and if you come in at the right time, you can get a PtE without a problem. The guy who works there really knows his beer, but will sometimes point you towards a beer that they are having trouble selling. Obviously, he is trying to get rid of leftover loads. The selection is pretty decent, and they also sell singles, so I can get a couple of Oskar Blues Ten Fidy's for 1/3 of the price an actual 4-pack. Gotta love a place like that. Prices can be pretty reasonable. Like I mentioned, all single beers are $2.29 regardless of what beer you are getting, so if you buy a couple singles, you are either getting a great deal, or a shitty deal.

I shop here because they stock many of my beloved Sierra Nevada Beers that other stores do not. The have someone working in the Beer/Wine aisle that can answer just about any question you have. They have a great selection of 22 oz craft beers. You can find Pacific Northwest seasonals and special releases as well as many imports. Many a patron stairs into the cooler dumb founded by the selection. They do have sale beers but other than that they will live up to the affectionate nickname "Mark Up Of Choice." Probably due to the guy that will talk wine with you=)
