375ml corked bottle served in a weizen glass.

A: Pours a hazy dark orange to beige color forming a big and bubbled white head. Good retention. A bit soapy. Only few lacings are left in the glass

S: Sweet and fruity. Sweet grains. Lots of honey. Bready and earthy. Notes of wheat. Notes of spices like pepper. A bit boozy ib the end

T: Sweet in the mouth too. Quite bubblegum sensation. Sweet grains, honey, wheat, candy sugar, caramel, caramel malts. Quite fruity too, with strong notes of raisins. A bit woody. Very mild bitterness as expected from the style

M: Heavy and molasses body. Medium carbonation. Sweet grains aftertaste

O: Excellent drinkability. Great Triple made in Brazil. Wals quality. Recommend

Light golden orange color, a bit hazy. Made lots of fluffy head leaving laces.
Sour aroma, a bit similar to Lambics with notes of fruits.
Sweet citric taste, hints of orange peel and pear, white wine, and condiments-coriander. Dry aftertaste.
Light body with good carbonation. A bit effervescent sensation, champagne like. 9% alcohol is very well hidden.
Excellent beer, I was positively surprised, Brazilians are getting to another league.

From a 36 cL bottle, thanks Jon,

A: Pours a murky but clean burnt orange with a light white head, average retention, no head after a few minutes.

S: Some candied pear, yellow apple and stone fruit, but fairly minimal early on.

T: Strong pear and orange estery flavours with a good amount of residual sugar and a light hoppiness to balance everything out. Pastry notes midway through are a delight.

M: Medium to full-bodied with a thick firm overall feel with great structure. Never cloying.

O: Jon was right this is a wonderful tripel, I'm impressed.

355 ml twist off cap with a cover. Let's see how this christans my newly bought Abadessa chalice. Purchased at Costi Bebidas in Porto Alegre, on to the cerveja...I mean beer:

Pour a little, get a glass-full of foam. Big and froathy is the head, beautiful golden color is underneath it all. Outstanding retention and lacing. it smells great too. Candied and ripe fruits like peaches and apricots. Some yeast is working in favor in the aroma. Taste....am I in Belgium? Sweet, but not too cloying. Sugary upfront, out comes some peppery spice whic brings it down. A little heat, but the candied ripe fruits make you forget about all that. Spicy in the afteraste. Light and fluffy is the mouthfeel, and although you feel some alcohol, it doesn't feel like its listed 9%.

Did this really come from Brazil? Simply outstanding. Come down to Brazil and try one....or six today.
