The best place for homebrewing supplies and ingredients in the Silicon Valley! The atmosphere and service may be a bit off-putting at first, but give it a chance and you'll be happy you did. Amidst the seeming chaos of grain sacks and equipment is a treasure trove of fresh ingredients and hard-to-find speciality grains and yeast. The owner is incredibly knowledgeble and eager to help if you have legitimate questions about brewing. He also has excellent recipes that he is more than happy to share. Every batch of beer I have brewed with his recipes has come out great.

They also carry wine- and cheese-making supplies!

Stopped buy to check this place out and to pick up a plastic bucket and to see if there was any thing else I would like.

Located in a old industrial strip mall this place looks like something out of 1992 home brewing. Dingy, dirty, half-opened bags of grain on the floor. No prices marked. Serice was good, but the prices on ball lock kegs "special until end of year" for $54.00. MMMmmm. I should have asked for the price of the bucket but I though it couldn't be that bad. $14.50! I was so shell shocked I paid and left-go to B3 or on-line but avoid this place.
