On tap at the Yak & Yeti in Arvada.
Appearance - orange, looks light and very carbonated. Thin, white head that leaves a thick ladder of lace!
Smell - mild blend of pine, grass and floral hops along with a very tame candy malt presence.
Taste - nice balance of hops and malts; refreshing, however a bit too light.
Feel - superb hop/malt balance, but finishes a bit light and watery.
Overall - worth it if your in Arvada or Westminster and craving Indian food, but overall a bit disappointing.

a good brew overall, kind of a blend between east and west coast ipa styles. pours perfectly clear and radiant sunset yellow/orange color, with a one inch head that fades quickly. the smell is a mix of higer alpha hop varieties and some acidic grapefruity tartness in the finish. flavor is sweeter hops up front, bitter hops in the back, and a fruity yeast that ties it all together. cant say its anything way out of the ordinary, but its got a nice punch to it, and its a very sessionable ipa. it also stands up well to the spicy and flavorful food at the yak and yeti, which is a must. feel is fine, a little slim on carbonation and a little thin on body, but thats okay with the heavy food. overall a worthwhile ipa, plenty drinkable, and crisp in the finish.

Pours a cloudy yellow body with a thin white head.

Floral, citrus aroma.

Citrus C hops dominate. Fruity, crisp, bright, clean. Very citrusy, quite yummy. Flavorful and easy drinking.

Lighter in body and lower in carbonation. Seems like a cask ale.

Really liked this one, clearly deserves its gold medal.

Had this at the Y&Y in Westminster.
Arrives a really bright and colorful copper/orange. Head is kept to a 1/4" sheen on top of a glass mug.
The heart of this is all about fruit-noted hops. Pineapple, peach, orange peel, and just a little big of grapefruit and pine in the finish. Malts? Yup - there's a layer of breadiness under there that creeps up in each sip, but never really operates beyond offering some body to the hops. The finish and flavors are boldly hoppy, but never harsh or bitter.
Easy drinking and an excellent pairing for Indian and Nepali food as well. Texture is carbonated, but only mildly - making it go down very easily.
A surprisingly amazing beer at a random west Asian restaurant. Who would've guessed?
I've had lots of good IPAs in the last 9-10 months and this is one of the best so far.

From a growler of which I've gotten half a dozen or more. Also just had the double IPA on tap at the brewery, for reference.
Poured from growler into a Corsendonk chalice.
Gold color with modest head and significant lace.
Big aroma of grassy hops, sweet malts, sour dough.
Significant mouthfeel and carbonation.
Flavors of amber malts, straw hops, cream of tartar, grassy hops, some slight pepper and astringency. Overall big, full bodies, flavorful with some challenging elements...some funky fruit rind juice, but overall very tasty for a pint or more.

growler from the brewery. into a medicine glass

A - Pours a dark golden to almost brown color. Strong pearly white head formation, well retained as a film.

S - Incredibly hoppy aroma, full of grapefruit and other moderately sweet hops.

T - Starts off with just a tinge of sweetness and a boatload of hopping. Very fruity, floral, grapefruit. Not piney or edgy. Mid-stream gets bitter, but is well balanced. Finishes with a strong bitter aftertaste.

M - Thick and creamy, full bodied. Carbonation is not too strong for the beer body. Finishes with a potent bitter film sticking to the tongue.

D - Moderate drinkability. If you are in an IPA mood, this beer will flow easily. The hopping does start to really overwhelm the palette after a while. Not sure on the ABV, but my sessioning of this growler seems alright.
