I enjoyed this beer on tap at the brewpub while sitting out on the patio in one of the first warm days of the year. Poured into their standard imperial pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a pumpkin orange color with a paper-thin white head that lasts throughout.

Smell: Sweet smell of oranges, citrusy pine hops and grapefruit.

Taste: Just as the smell suggests, very citrusy taste. The grapefruit comes through as well with a nice bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with lots of nice carbonation. There is also a very nice coating of the tongue on the way down.

Drinkability: Not a bad IPA. Maybe it was being outside in the fresh air, but I thought this was a pretty good IPA. The orange and citrus were a bit much for me and not as well balanced as I like, but it was still a solid beer. Would try again and recommend to others.

Poured into my pint glass the beer is a sediment filled orange amber. A finger of thick off white head fades slowly leaving a full coating of lace.

The aroma is moderately hopped. Lemons and grapefruit are initally what come to mind. Maybe a touch of pine. The malt is present but doesn't overpower things.

The flavor is light citrus and pine with a heavy sweet malt backbone. The sweetness in the malt seems to wash out the hop bite with each sip. The bitter hop blast turns to biscuit and bread rather quickly.

Medium body with a modest amount of carbonation.

Overall another run of the mill IPA. Drinkable but nothing worth seeking out.
