Malachi Ire-Ish Red is brewed at the nearby Terminal BrewHouse as the house beer for The Honest Pint pub in Chattanooga. This is a well crafted Irish Red Ale that probably is a tad more malty than average. It is noticeably more hoppy than usual, reducing the sweetness and adding a light spicy quality that is a welcome addition. Recommended.

On tap. Pours dark red with off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of earthy hops, red fruit and bready malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Taste is similar to aroma. Finish is long and dry. Ok brew.

I'm going to jsut say Malachi is so far, the finest-looking, and tasting, best balanced Irish Red that I have had the pleasure of experiencing,. And it was perfectly tapped from the fine Terminal tappers! 3 cheers!

Tasted on tap at the brewhouse. Thin body, low carbonation. Good appearance other than lack of head. Flavors and aromas good, but nothing makes this beer stand out as special.
