Crystal clear straw yellow pour with a tightly packed head.

Smell had a very odd funk to it. It was similar to vinyl or the smell of a brand new shower curtain. Lemon and straw underneath from the house yeast. The smell was a little offensive because of the off smell of vinyl and rubber.

Taste sort of followed along with the smell. A funky dry taste with a a tart lemon finish. Rubbery. It all ended on a light straw note. Reminded me of brett but I don't think brett is present in this beer.

This beer could be suffering from yeast autolysis. I haven't had enough beers affected by this off flavor of rubber to know for certain but there was something definitely strange going on.

Reviewed @ the tasting on 11/5.

Medium thin bodied, clean mouth-feel, somewhat buttery, nice carbonation.
Mild notes of grain upfront with a solid fruitiness, notes of green apples.
Finishes with a lingering caramel note.

Overall interesting, but flavors were rather mild.
