not sure if they brewed this again, i think they have, as it tasted awfully fresh to me and was sold as a hop kitchen series beer, not a lips of faith. nice ipa, well made, but like so many, a little generic on the hop profile, and trading bitterness for flavor to a degree beyond where they could have stopped. looks nice, fully clear brassy color with a very expressive white head. pine hop aromatic is fresh and appealing, if extremely familiar and predictable. the taste is similar, a little one dimensional on the grain front, and definitely cascade or something similar as the most prominent varietal in here. pretty dry in the finish, lingering bitterness, excellent carbonation, but i am not seeing the collaborative creative energy happening. maybe they got together and said, "lets make a real generic ipa" if they did, they succeeded, although this is better than many similar ones out there.

This collaboration ale is quite good. The beer poured a hazy golden color with white head that left rings of lacing all the way down the tulip glass. The scent was definitely fresh hop with citrus, spice and slight pine notes. The taste followed the scent and as the beer warmed it because noticeably more bitter. The mouthfeel is medium in body with decent carbonation. Overall this beer was good and sessionable.
