12oz bottle. Dark amber pour, thin off-white foamy head. Disappointing . Kind of bland , not much hoppiness for an APA. Some caramel sweetness. Just average .

The appearance was a clear yet muddy brown color with a light orange complexion close to the sides of the glass. There was about a one finger white bubbly/and somewhat foamy rocky/lumpy head that dissipated within about a minute. The lacing was light and sporadic (slightly all over the place). The smell was lightly spiced with a light floral content interweaving inside of some earthy cereal-ness with a light caramel toast. Interesting to say the least. The taste was mainly earthy and sweet, the light floral content does come back to coat my taste buds. There’s a peanut butter aftertaste (I normally get from most New Belgium beers) and there’s a dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and it has a decent sharpness trying to pound my tongue. Overall, decent APA, but nothing too special.

This is a maltier pale ale. You can tell right in the beginning when this is basically amber in color. Could just as easily be classified as such. 1/2" white head. Toasty caramel and fall like notes.

Taste, again, maltier. This is basically fat tire without as much toasted, caramel like malt. Same demographic they're going after with this one. Mild hopping. Mild bitterness. If you like fat tire or boston lager from Sam Adams, I think this one will be right in your wheelhouse.

First and foremost, I don't recall when I bought this and it made its way to the back of the fridge without me knowing about it. The beer is 11 months beyond the best by date, and I likely thought it was for this fall when I bought it.

L: Poured center into a snifter from a 12 oz bottle. Gorgeous dark roasted copper color with pale mocha colored head. Moderate to fine sized bubbles on a thick head two fingers wide. Plenty of carbonation rising mostly from the center of the glass. Thick retention and thick sticky lacing.

S: Big green hop nose up front and leafy. Salted caramel after with white toast.

T: Nutty up front with hazelnut but tasting a little almost sour. Leafy greens still coming through but toasted white bread crust from the malt are still there. Very weak mint note in the finish.

F: Zippy on the tongue with a citrus like bite. The high carbonation can be felt in the stomach but low perceived ABV presents no issues with drinkability.

O: I'm not a big fan of the flavor but a very well produced technical beer. Looks absolutely fantastic. I love how complex the smell is. I won't crucify this due to its age, but damn I got to imagine this held up pretty friggen awesome over time. Still a good beer.

Clear fizzy tarnished copper with cream-like, fine, yellowed-white head. Great is the retention, just as the lacing. Very good resin, caramel, and orange peel nose. Strong caramel and pasta backbone, with nice resin, pine, dank vegetation, leafiness, slight fruit and peel of citrus, and spice from the hops. Definite black pepper breath-notes after it's saturated the palate. Medium in body, considerably thicker than water despite surprisingly lackluster (given appearances at least) level of gentle, almost tingly carbonation.

Had on tap at the Bryant Lake Bowl. L: Brilliant copper amber under a clingy moussey 1” white foam collar. S: Bready spicy malts with some hop aromas in the background. T: The flavors follow the aromas with big bready malt moderately bittered by the hops. F: This beer is so smooth and creamy and the bubbles are so small it looks and feels like a nitro beer. O: Flavorful and easy to drink.

Give me a touch of pine and some dry leaves, with a bit more toasty malt on the end, and I’ll call it time for the seasons to change.

This sure ain’t poetry.
Beer reviews can be like that sometimes.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of citrus, pine, toasted caramel and toffee. Sweet maltiness with hints of caramel. Mild bitterness with a citrusy kick.
