Poured from 12oz bottle into New Belgium Globe Glass.
A. 2+ finger of raspberry hued head. Good retention. Color is dark red. Good lacing.
S. Malt, raspberries, yeast. Smells like a lambic, slight sourness.
T. Sweet/sour rapsberries. Almost tastes like a fruit wine. Biscuity malt, New Belgium's signature malt taste.
M. Medium/light bodied. Medium carbonation.
D. Very drinkable. Higher ABV for the style but you wouldn't know it by drinking it. Goes down very easy. Something good to look forward to during winter.

Ruby red; fairly see-through.
Nice white head which dissipates but doesn't disappear; strong lacing.
Lush raspberry nose; hints of malt below. Enticing.
Medium mouthfeel.
Lotsa raspberry in the taste; very subtle chocolate undertones on the back end.
I could perhaps use a bit more chocolate malt backbone, but this is a nice beer. Released in winter, I'd honestly prefer it in the hot months...

12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass. Pours dark red with a nice foamy white head. Smell is big, dominated by raspberry and chocolate. Lots of fruity and malty aromas in there as well. Tase is littered with strong flavors, the fruit and chocolate come through strong, but not in an overly sweet annoying way. The chocolate starts the sip followed by the fruit and a nice chocolate aftertaste. This one has a medium body with a healthy dose of carbonation. Overall a great beer, and very surprisingly sessionable since the flavors are so strong. Definitely worth checking out.
