look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4

A: Poured from the bottle into a Duvel tulip. Appears chestnut-brown on the pour, but in the glass it's darker, close to black. A 1.5-finger light-tan head settles on top, leaves behind nice splotches of lace.

S: Some caramel malt and some grains. A touch of sugar too.

T: Lightly-roasted grains, some toast, and caramel malt/toffee. Hint of molasses and mild nuttiness. Despite the generally sweet flavors, it finishes pretty clean, with a faint hint of some earthiness seeming to provide a touch of balance.

M: Feels a little bit thin. Carbonation is modest and smooth.

O: Decent. Not a lot of flavor going on, but an easy drinker.
