MEDIUM SOUR.

Got this one on tap. Nothing better than fresh beer. It came and it had a dark amber color to it, and it was transparent. Smell was typical of red Flanders, with some funky lambic lingering around. Taste was good. A bit sour, typical red Flanders. My taste buds were pulled in different directions but nothing irritating. Mouth feel is light but somewhat syrupy. Could drink this all day.

Very good red Flanders.

Pours a clear, dark brown tinged red, with one finger thick of dense khaki colored head. Fades to a thin ring; a few streaks of lace manage to hold up. Smell: lactic dosed dates, raisin bread, brown sugar, leather and oaky notes. Taste: fruit first... black plum, cherry, acetic. Then cola, green apple. Finishing mildly lactic and oaky. Medium bodied, plenty of carb to keep things moving, semi-drying finish. Not terribly intense in any one aspect, nice flavors and easy drinking. 2014.
