Bursting with tropical aromas and juicy fruit flavors from Mosaic and Amarillo hops, this golden IPA is perfectly bitter with a refreshing, sublime finish.

Super thin appearance, looks like pesh
Aroma is piney hops
Taste is malty with some pine and bitterness in finish
Overall it’s not bad but it’s just not great in a crowded style

From the can, it pours a clear golden color with a modest white head that slowly reduces to a ring. The nose gets some citrus, as does the mouth. Enjoyable brew!

Pleasantly surprised by this beer. 1st time with a Voodoo, and it did not disappoint! The 7% alcohol is not really noticeable, but the citrus are evident in this rather tasty, smooth IPA. Would definitely buy again!

This is one of the best ales on the market and I highly recommend it. I have enjoyed so many different types of beer and went through the deepening desire for the ones with the most hops but this one doesn’t have a strong hoppy flavor. Calling it an imperial relates to its higher alcohol content and that’s relevant but this has such a smooth taste it makes me realize that balance is much more important than quantity or variety. This ale has the perfect balance between malty and hoppy so that you can’t tell which prevails and it is so smooth it is almost as easy to drink as those popular american lagers but it has much better flavor which is as balanced as it is, amounts to being nearly perfect.

Certainly not a beer to seek out these days, as it’s ubiquitous, but because of that it’s available in bars and restaurants that would previously have only macro crap on draft. The place I had a few pints is no exception. This is a properly hopped, easy drinking IPA. And for $5 a pint, it’s cheap!

Well I have to say this one stood out rather oddly, as I was quite thirsty when I popped it open. Probably not the best possible setup for trying a new IPA. Better shoulda ought Ida had a pilsner, or something more summery. But this is what I had, and my desire for a beer was over riding my need for the perfect thirst quencher. And I have to say I found it to be...
Almost chuggable. Really, it has lots of IPA type qualities, but it was really easy to drink, and satisfied multiple needs of mine all at once.
Also, after the tragedy of fruit force, a bit of redemption for NB.

Ok, but lacking in most areas that an IPA would excel. Needs more body and more hops to get it to be more like a real IPA. Still drinkable but much better out there for the price. Even better NB offerings for sure.
