From a woman's perspective-
Citradelic Exotic Lime Ale is a beautifully done fruit ale. Unlike othet "fruit beers" it manages to pull off a refreshing lime and pepper taste without coming off like artificial limey kool-aid added to beer.

I liked this from the first sip, and the flavor only got better with each taste. The coriander was so subtle, I could only discern it's flavor when I exhaled.

Since I loved this beer, I expected other reviews to be bad. (Possibly a difference between the tastes of men versus women?) This is an awesome, refreshing fruit beer your lady will enjoy with you.

Poured into a New Belgium globe.

Look: Hazy but bubbly golden straw colored body with a white head that doesn't last long, but a patch remains from the nucleated glass. Minimal lacing, if any.

Aroma: Wheat grains, dried grass, lime peel, lime juice.

Taste: Somewhere between a calm sour ale and a light lime 'n lager. Lime juice is prevalent with a subtle black pepper finish.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied and dry.

Overall: Lime is good overall, took a long time to detect the pepper elenent, and never really found the alledged coriander.

This tastes like a bud light lime + corona w/ lime hybrid. Tastes cheap. Not great.

I've had the Tangerine Citradelic and the lime is of the same ilk. The Lime flavor is less juicy and more tart, which I guess is to be expected. It was so tart, I almost thought I was drinking one of those lime-margarita beers or even a sour beer.

Pours a clear, glowing medium straw producing 2 fingers of foamy, shorlived, white head that recedes to a wash of thin streaky lace. Aroma is perfumy, pale malt, herbal & water vegetal lime. Taste is thin bread, cereal, lemon/lime, dry grass & not much else. Dry throughout finishes clean but flat with rapidly diminishing aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation, water with a thin prickle. Not very drinkable.

Really good beer better than I expected lots of hops and not too much lime. No artificial tastes I think that's the best part about it.
