Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark amber color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of cherries, amaretto. Taste is cherries, malts, some almonds are present, a light bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a unique and enjoyable beer.

Dark brownish-red , with short-lived light tan head.
Aroma is of slightly musty malt.
Taste is a slightly fruity amber ale.
Moderate fine-textured carbonation, with a pleasant light bitterness on the finish. Nothing special but decent & drinkable, ; )

Some artificial cherries in the nose and taste, also some metallic notes. Reminds me of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat which I'm not a big fan of. Would pass on this one.

Darker than I expected, though I might have thought brown if they had led with the almond instead of the cherry. Mahogany, but plenty of reddish-amber comes through under light. Decent tan cap that sticks around. You can definitely detect the namesake ingredients on the nose. Lots of sweetness. You get the cherry in the flavor, but it's quite artificial-tasting. Too sweet. There's a decent brown ale backbone, but it gets overpowered. There may be a hint of nuttiness, too. Mouthfeel is pretty average, though there's some slickness on the back end. This is a beer I don't hate having tried, but I probably wouldn't seek it out again. Interesting concept not quite executed to a T.

L: Dark brown with a rocky light tan head.
S: Sweet and malty nose. Cherry and other similar fruit smell is easily noticeable.
T&F: Again, sweet malt with cherry. Finishes dry. Some nuttiness (almond I would assume). Tastes like a brown ale with some added cherry. Cherry is not overdone and is not overly sweet.
O: Interesting beer that is worth a try, but not something I would get again.
