2014 release. 650ml bottle poured into a teku

Appearance: Pours a dark golden orange color with 2 fingers of an off white head with good retention and spotty lacing. Body is lightly hazy with light visible carbonation.

Smell: Peach, lemon, mango, green apple touch of damp wood.

Taste: Peach, tea, lemon, light earthiness, grapefruit, very slight toasted malt character. Medium sourness. Not much in the way of funk.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel and medium/high carbonation.

Overall: Really good stuff. Hops play really well against the beer's sourness and provide lots of flavor and aroma while not really adding any bitterness. Definitely worth trying.

On tap at BC's Pizza and Beer

A: Pours golden amber with a creamy off white head that settles and lightly laces.

S: Fruity, peach and apricot, a little tropical fruit and citrus.

T: Nicely tart, fruity peach and apricot, a little mango, some lemon, and maybe a very light funk.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, quite smooth.

O: I haven't had much of a chance to get into sours, but this one was quite enjoyable.

Apple juice colored ale. Finger of head with minimal retention.

Citrus, tropical, slightly tart aroma. Pleasantly hoppy and sour at the same time.

Begins with an assertive citrus and pine hop presence. Hint of honey an herbs mid drink. Finishes with a moderately acidic white grape and green apple flavor. Dry in the end.

Medium bodied. Well carbonation. Slightly sticky with a dry finish.

Many points for originality here. Exceptional flavor profile as well and very well balanced. It's kind of a cross between an IPA and a sour blond ale. I'm happy to say, its a good combo. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.
