On-tap 11/26/2016 at Pizza J’s in Providence, RI, served in a flute glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains wild yeast, esters, light caramelized malts, citrus and some hops.

T: The taste starts out with a big burst of sourness from flavors of wild yeast and citrus. Then a good hops presence for the style comes in. The malt character is a little thin but provides a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sour.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean and dry.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good variation of style, this is a decent beer to drink for a while.

Hazy peach color with minimal white head. Great aroma of sweet fruit with a bit of vinegar coming through. Some nice hoppy citrus notes as well. Quite sour and balanced with everything else that is going on. Really enjoyed this beer.

A: hazy golden color, touches or orange present as well,

S: immediate hoppy bite in the nose with a certain apple cider vinegar sharpness that is quite pleasant, very aromatic

T: bracingly, refreshingly sour, suggestion of pineapple, and a piney note as well, very tart and funky, funky in a cheesy way that a lot of american sours lack (not overly cheesy, just with that kind of funk) that i find pleasant

M: dry but also a bit sticky

O: much better than I remembered, really quite a delicious beer, as easy as this is to get you really have no excuse not to give it a try, this is a very tasty and immensely enjoyable beer, and is on par with some of the belgian sours which is really saying something
