A: hazy golden color, touches or orange present as well,

S: immediate hoppy bite in the nose with a certain apple cider vinegar sharpness that is quite pleasant, very aromatic

T: bracingly, refreshingly sour, suggestion of pineapple, and a piney note as well, very tart and funky, funky in a cheesy way that a lot of american sours lack (not overly cheesy, just with that kind of funk) that i find pleasant

M: dry but also a bit sticky

O: much better than I remembered, really quite a delicious beer, as easy as this is to get you really have no excuse not to give it a try, this is a very tasty and immensely enjoyable beer, and is on par with some of the belgian sours which is really saying something

On draft. Peachy orange color and opaque. Very little head, fairly white and almost no lacing.

Get bitterness of orange rind and not quite ripe peach. Getting more tartness and a bit of sour under the back of the tongue and back sides of the cheeks.
Picking up just slight hints of a wood.
Light carbonation.

Overall fairly light, easy drinker.
Short finish but solid.

Pours golden amber with almost no head. Smells great with orange, peach, and sour underneath. The taste follows the smell with great fruit flavors and some oak. The sour comes through stronger than on the nose, but very well balanced. This is an easy to drink beer.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass. Vintage 2016.

Peach apricot and a bit of dull orange color, with an opaque body appearance. Head creation is a faint tan, slightly banana yellow at two fingers tall but settles to a crowned bowled top.

Very nice unique nose. Sweet hints of malt and cedar like and wood shavings. Fruited apricot and peach esters roll off real large and nicely. Balanced with excellent sweetness and fruit character, with aromas that come off like a summer cocktail. Real nice.

Peach and lightly tart tasting palate on first impression. Soda like body a bit but with some decent malt depth and flavors. Spritzy mix of fruited peach and apricot fuzz, with an almost bubbly champagne fizz and mouthplay. Big juiced character with hints of cedar like sweet wood as well.

Very nice tasting wild, and very unique and memorable.

L - Pours a hazy orange with a full finger of foam with decent lacing
S - Mashed fruit and oak
T - Explosively delicious. Reminds me of Tool's excellent Sur Amarillo. Sour awesomeness.
F - Typical of the style
O - Glad I tried this and will pick it up again. This is an outstanding representation of the newly hip sour ales.

This is the prototypical sour beer. The pour is a hazy orange hue with a slight head. A smell of fruit is followed by a smoked undertone. The taste is heavily sour, with strong citra presence, as well as hops and hints of the wood-barrel the beer was stored in. Overall a delicious sour.

Wow, now this is a Sour. Aroma is of extreme overripe fruit at first from the mix of souring and dry hopping, but then it settles to a more expected aroma of tart lemon and oak. Extremely tart flavor, with a focus on lemon, oak and light tropical flourishes. Effervescent body with a very dry and tart finish. Okay, I think I have said sour and tart enough.
