25 years ago we started brewing Fat Tire Belgian Style Ale. It became an iconic beer, and a symbol synonymous with craft. Now, for the first time, we’re adding a new beer to the Fat Tire family: Fat Tire Belgian White. Taking inspiration from our decades of experience brewing Belgian beers, Fat Tire Belgian White is made with Seville oranges and Indian coriander, both freshly ground less than a mile from our Fort Collins brewery. It’s a fresh, perfectly sweet, natural tasting Belgian White.

16 oz can from Winco. Surprised at the high ratings, as this is kind of weak. Pale, milky yellow, thin head from the stary. Aroma is very light citrus., lemons, meadow. Taste follows with more subdued wheat notes, light citrus. Pretty generic. For a good witbier, check out the St. Feuillien Grisette.

12oz bottle

Looks beautiful, like most of their beers, smell is light and wheaty, the taste is full of belgian yeast notes, but mild: pepper, coriander, mild hops

Probably the most middle of the line craft beer I've ever had, not hard to see why they're discontinuing the style. Don't see the point of ever picking this up over a Blue Moon or Allagash.

Rerate, 355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken: ABV is 5.2%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of Belgian witbier yeast, wheat, orange peel and coriander. Refreshing wheaty flavour, notes of yeast, grain, orange peel and coriander. Original rating, 3.0: Sample at Vecturamesse (Strag). Pale golden colour. Grainy / wheaty aroma and flavour. Not really impressive.

A - Normal pour into a goblet producing a very pale yellow brew. Small, quickly dissipating head with no lacing.

S - Orange peel, wheat, citrus.

T - Lemon zest, orange peel, wheat.

M - Thin, Low viscosity, dry, easy drinking. Easily a session beer due to drinkability and 5.2% abv. No lingering aftertaste.

D - This brew is very reminiscent of certain macrobrew American wheat beers without the artificial flavors. It is very, very easy drinking.
