12/28/17....reddish amber with white foam. Malty toffee nose. Some sweetness, caramelly toffeed and malts throughout. Well balanced amber, just enough to tip into a red IPA>

On tap. Poured a clear, golden red color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled very malty with hints of pine. Malty up front with a piney bitterness and sweet caramel.

Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass. Reddish amber color, decent beige head and good lacing. Fruity smell. Nice malt backing with a piney taste. A bit think for the type but overall pretty good.

Served in a snifter glass from the bottle.
Appearance: Transparent Amber color with medium bubbles to body creating an oranges tinted white head rising half a finger's length with sticky lacing.
Smell: Ligjt floral feel which dissipates pretty quickly.
Taste: Floral and malty, a little more bitter than what I expected but still very satisfying.
Mouth: Semi-sticky but has a toasted bready finish which compliments it well. Medium to full bodied.
Overall: Good beer and feels like a steak for the price I got it for. Enjoy with love and always in a glass. Salud!

Deep, dark amber, hinting towards garnet. Rocky, soapy off white 3 finger head that dropped to one finger and is leaving splotchy lace. Dominant aroma is piney resin..How I wish I had a fully functional set of olfactories.. Taste starts a bit sweet with the resiny hops coming on mid palate, then both seem to come together on the finish...Nary a hint of the 8% alcohol. Fairly light bodied with fine carbonation. Very enjoyable!

Clear medium red body with one inch head; lacing is very good and thick.
Flavors are really good; beautifully deep, roasted malts which subtly transition to pine hops, ending in slight citrus and sweet malts. It’s all good, but them deep roasted malts are the stars in the firmament. Carbonation is medium light.
Really good.
