I can't discern all the subtle nuances of different hops like some people can, but with that said, in my layman point of view this just tastes like a more resinous, herbal version of their regular IPA. Which is fine, because I find that one a little too sweet and fruity.

This is a strange one--it's an IPA that tastes nothing like an IPA. Very drinkable, looks OK, smell very lightly of honey and herbs or something like that and the taste follows. 3.75 all around, imho. Good for a chill beer to drink with your buddies but not something to fawn over or seek out.

2023 Review (#3), as I believe these change every so often.
Purchased as part of a New Belgium Mix-pack, poured fresh from 12oz. can in to a beer glass.
This is a bit of a Grapefruit bomb. It will put some people off. But I like it a lot. The final gravity is low enough for me to put down a few of these at the neighborhood BBQ. The aftertaste keeps this Refreshing, and not annoying.
I would buy this again if I saw them for sale by themselves.
Nice Xperiment.

12-oz can into New Belgium globe
I really have no idea which version of Xperimental this is. Apparently the cans are identical. It doesn't help that this has been chilling in my beer fridge for ages.
A - 2 fingers off white foam over a transparent body of golden amber; decent lace
S - citrus, pineapple, tropical fruit; hint of grass and herbs
T - pink grapefruit, touch of pineapple, pine, herbal, floral, dry finish
M - smooth medium/full body, medium/high carbonation
O - nice IPA
