Part of the spring variety pack, this Belgian pale ale pours an amber color with a medium to thin white head that quickly dissipates. The smell is malty and slightly citrusy, possibly of orange or lime. It has a strong, almost overwhelming, malt presence with flavors of caramel, bread, and toasted oats. The hops are milder. The finish is very crisp and slightly dry. Not a bad beer, but not really too interesting either. I’m not really sure what makes this a Belgian pale ale and not just a regular pale ale. It wouldn’t make a bad session beer.

Golden color, a tiny amount of haze to it, pillowy white head, 3/5". Didn't notice anything that constituted a belgian aroma or yeast going on here.

Taste was light and provided some nice levity to the palate. Carbonation was up there. Real mild toasted malt stuffing. Mild grassy notes.

Had a bottle at my brothers...poured into a Perfect Pint.

A=Very faint yellow...not appealing.

S=Faint whiff of hops...wheat?

T=What little flavor that was there was not very appealing...reminded me more of water than beer...MGD is better.

M=Too watery.

O=Probably the worst beer I've had this year...all I can think of was that it was old stock, but it was horrible.
