To celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we brewed a special, hop-forward tribute to our beloved Fat Tire. Dry-hopped with Mosaic, Galaxy, Idaho 7 and Sabro, Wild Ride has a decidedly American-style aroma that rolls right over malty-sweet and fruity amber characteristics. It's a perfect reflection of the last 30 years-totally recognizable, a little unexpected, and easy to love. What a wild ride it's been.

Poured from a can, multiple cans really - into multiple different glasses. Excellent clear golden, copper color. I've had a bunch of these, never tire of the appearance. Nose is mild, slightly fizzy sort of rushing up the nose. Lemon upfront, pithy, green, slightly sweet, malt. Mouthfeel is wonderful. Volume of it is great when it's quite cool, as it warms it presents some lighter character which is interesting. Really enjoy this bevvy, admittedly, picked up several sixers for about 4 bucks. If you enjoy a pale ale, you'll enjoy this. Don't think on it too long. Good beer.

Can. Beautiful CLEAR copper with dense head and lace. Nice citrus and fruity aroma with a little toasted malt in the background. Medium light sweetness with some fruit and light biscuit and a touch of honey. Medium cistrusy bitterness in nice dry finish. Surprisingly fucking amazing. I wish I'd bought a twelve pack.

Poured from the 12oz can into a pint glass. The beer is a pure orange color with a slight haze, topped with a 2 finger frothy offwhite to light tan head.

Smell is balanced with lots of bready toasted malt and hints of berries, earth, spice, and some pine.

Taste is more on the hoppy side with some earthy spice and pine, balanced with a bit of bready malt. Finish is bitter with a lingering note of pine and caramel.

Overall a pretty good beer, although more of a regular IPA, maybe with a bit more malt in there. Worth a shot.

Pours light amber with a 1 1/2" white head, which lasts. Heavy lacing to the end.

Aroma is floral, mango, pine, grapefruit.

Taste follows nose: Mango, pine, grapefruit. Resinous.

Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Dry finish.

Very good across the board.

L:. Pours a clear copper orange with a small white head and thick lacing on the glass.

S:. Sweet citrus, notes of strawberry, some slightly yard weed hops.

T:. Sweet citrus, a bit of berry and strawberry, slightly floral and weedy hops.

F:. Slightly prickly carbonation, medium body.

O:. Not a too bad IPA bit I expect amber IPAs to be a little sappier.

12oz can purchased from the fridge for $1.99. Best by date of 5/30/2021, so this is just past that date.

Look: Pours a completely clear amber color. A rocky off-white head has reduced to a very thin rim.

Smell: The nose is slightly fruity and bready. Hard to pinpoint the exact aromas - candied orange, grapefruit peel; it smells sweet and it also has some peppery and piney notes.

Taste: I haven't had Fat Tire in a very long time, but I think that this is a pretty close variation on that beer - probably a bit more hoppy and slightly higher alcohol. Up front, it has a grapefruity, citrusy bite along with caramel malt sweetness. The finish has a mild to moderate bitterness that is pithy, piney, and spicey. It's not particularly complex, not super refreshing. A decent beer, but not the most ideal beer for summer in my opinion.

Feel: Light to medium body; appropriately carbonated.

Overall: It's alright, nothing special. Unfortunately, I cannot detect any of the characteristics that I usually associate with these hops: Mosaic, Galaxy, Idaho 7 and Sabro. It just has a very non-descript vibe that is unfortunate in my opinion.

Pours a clear light amber. Sweet hop aroma. Buttery malt body. Fades to a bitter hop finish. It has good flavor but not quite what I expected.

12oz can. These were $2.50 a 6-pack... my house is practically made of these boxes after that sale

Just a very well done IPA. Misleading how they describe it, it's nothing like their flagship beer, this is a full-on American IPA. Very bitter and overly hopped, with a giant malt backing. Pours up beautifully, like all their beers, and drinks easy at 7%

I'm impressed with the hopping here, NB isn't known for that. B+

Pours golden (not “Amber” as name suggests) with really nice two finger white foamy cap. Subtle notes of citrus and hops with a nice 7%ABV and hoppy bite. Really nice malty-sweet mild Fat Tire amber flagship pumped up with an eclectic bursting mix of hops. Surprisingly good 30th Anniversary brew!

I am not a big IPA girl, so take that into account when you read this review. This is a pretty good beer but I can't say that it is really totally awesome. It is basically the usual IPA flavors and such, nothing new or different. That being said, it is not bad at all, not super hoppy which is a plus in my book.
