Pours a nice golden color in a 16oz pub glass with about a 1/inch head that dissipates quickly leaving some nice lacing on the glass. Carbonation is really active as a closer look is examined.

Smell is of hops as you would expect from an IPA with maybe a little malt in the background. Pine and lemon are the dominating aromas.

Taste is nice and hoppy. Again, pine and lemon are the big players here. As a couple of sips are taken, hops seem to mellow out on the pallet.

Mouthfeel is nice with good carbonation.

Overall a really good beer. I have been drinking beer with much less hops here lately so that probably amplifies the hoppyness for me. It was really nice because they were not overpowering and as mentioned, they seemed to mellow out as the glass emptied.

Golden colored and good clarity, medium level carbonation and lower levels of white head retention. Nice hop aroma, like bitter grapefruit. For an IPA I found the flavor to be better balanced then most IPAs, some maltiness present, but a bitter hop aftertaste is the dominate flavor present. Very crisp as well as drinkable ale. The mouth feel is fantastic! Smooth and very creamy...

I am not a hop-head by any means, but the balance and smoothness of this IPA was very good and an IPA worth buying again in my book.
