Ranger. Pale gold colour with quite strong clarity, light film and lacing. 3.75
S- light bitter grapefruit citrus, lime, quite leafy, but quite interesting. 4
T- mild grapefruit citrus and a bit of stale leafy hops. Citric acid is a key note, spices (rosemary), some pine resins but these are washed away by a creamy bubbly finish, nob have obviously put some effort into creating a west coast ipa style, flavorful but not as deep, with a bit of a cinnamon edge? A crisp and hop forward character, but lacking enough depth to back it up and make it really interesting. 3.75
M- moderate body and carbonation, decent. 3.75
A serviceable ipa to be sure, decent body with some lingering unfermentables/ volatiles. Would have again but not interesting enough to buy I think. A bit forgettable but quite easy to drink and balance is pretty good. Classic American IPA with enough hops to please.

Pours golden with a rocky/foamy head that leaves lacing.

The smell is of citrus and tropical fruits with a hint of piney/herbal notes.

The taste upfront is of juicy, bitter, tasty, citrus and tropical fruits (pineapple, grapefruit, orange, a hint of apricot). A biscuity pale malt and caramel (especially as it progresses) malt backbone gives it balance while keeping the hops ahead. Slight alcohol warmth shows. Orange rind hangs on in the aftertaste.

It has a chewy, juicy, smooth body.

This fits the category of American IPA very well. Hop-forward with a firm malt backing and a touch of alcohol warmth. It has a fruity, complex hop character. Wonderful! A hop-head's delight!
