Short and sweet review. Pours a light copper with a chunky head, boat loads of lacing. The nose overtakes my scent with floral and tropical hops, little to no malt. Floral, citrus, and evergreen highlight the taste. I think this one has been sitting around for 3-4 months and the malts have yet to take over. These hops are preserving and delicious. Good floral IPA.

Finally! New Belgium has arrived in the state of Florida. Reviewed from notes. Poured from a bomber into a Russian River pint glass.

A: Extraordinarily clear bright gold, with one finger's worth of white head and lots of visible carbonation. Very attractive beer.

S: Pine and grapefruit hops, a moderate impression of bitterness with modest light cracker malt. Not a lot of depth to the hop aromas, but it's got a nice big nose.

T: Grapefruit rind and pine resin bitterness, some moderately sweet cracker malts with minimal to no caramel flavor. Some floral and grassy hop character as well. Bitter grapefruit flavor after the swallow.

M: Light body but not watery, moderate alcohol presence, and good carbonation sensation but a smooth mouthfeel.

O: This is a solid beer. I could wish for some more depth and variety of the hop flavors, but that's being a bit picky. Very glad to have this in Florida, especially for under $3.00 for a bomber!
