Hazy, orange color. Medium-sized, white head. The aroma of tangerine, citrus, and melon. Soft, juicy taste with low bitterness and some artificial notes. Would never tell that it has 9.5% ABV based on taste. Very well hidden.

Super fruity and tropical fruit tasting. It smells and tastes kind of like mango and orange. I can definitely taste the abv though.

Vomit...Fruit Force´s older brother, I guess. I don´t buy Voodoo Ranger brews any more because of this insult to the customers. They call it IPA? Nope!

This experience is off to a terrible start. A single pour from a 19.2 fluid ounce can into a clear glass liter mug couldn't be completed because of all the foam it produced. Said foam reduced quickly, unevenly and unattractively. Eventually, the entire contents of the can fit inside the vessel. The closest reference for its smell is orange juice, so there's no misleading there. Golden-amber is the color beneath the stark white foam and it shows some haziness, as well as plenty of carbonation. This tastes like a healthy dose of orange juice was dropped into a cheap malt liquor. Really, that's a description that does a disservice to malt liquors. Behind the fruity taste reference, there's not much more than some alcohol. In fairness, the alcohol isn't that noticeable until it gets to burn the esophagus. The body is terribly light, so if you really need to, you could chug the whole serving quickly. But, an IPA? There's not a hint of hops, nor malt to taste. The lacing in the glass is nothing more than the irregular sticking of the abundant foam. No true lover of traditional IPAs could like this, but it's probably not a bad way to get a beer buzz when needed.

Stovepipe can pours a not-very-hazy yellow with a creamy head. Feels oddly thin with little carbonation, but smells and tastes like a smoothie from the health food aisle with very little hint of the *9.5%* advertised prominently on the can (yeah, if you bought this, you know what you're getting into). Bit of breadiness and guava on the retrohale which I adore. It's a fun and surprising drink, but won't satisfy you if you're craving beer... because it doesn't taste much like it.

First, an aroma of sugary pineapple/ hint of grapefruit with an initial hit of its ABV (its' warning shot?). Color is a slightly hazy pineapple yellow that looks a bit amber. Taste-wise, not as sweet as its aroma, with a not overly hoppy/yeasty aftertaste, and definitely not a "fruit infusion" sort of taste.I am not usually a fruity IPA drinker but this is very easy (too easy?) going down, definitely a quick buzz. As it warms up (if it lasts that long) the aroma deepens. Overall very drinkable, not too sweet, doesn't come across as artificially flavored, and it's a pleasing combination of sensations. Somewhat mouth-drying, so I think it would be great with a meal. With other IPAs the hops seem more up front at the bottom of the glass (sometimes I dump out that last half ounce, not with this one.) Consistent, strong, and a decent switch from what I usually like (Raging Bitch or Tank 7).

Voodoo Ranger Juice Force IPA pours a jazy, golden color with a larger, lacing, long-lasting head. The aroma is filled with notes of orange juice. The flavor has big orange juice notes, with a nice cereal at the end. Good feel. Overall, it is an orange juice-forward IPA with big orange juice flavors.
