You have to be ready and open minded about this one. It pours a nice amber color that leaves a good, heavy lacing that is slowly pulled back towards the beer. Taste begins a sweet citrus with a hint of sour that seems fresh and lively. Then the yeast reminds of its' presence and the finish turns to Tootsie-Pop chocolate with a unique quality punch from the yeast strain that I cannot describe. The mouthfeel is crisp and not at all heavy. The carbonation is surprisingly there considering the ABV.

Best before 5/2014.

Pours a hazy light orange with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and an odd combination of fruity and vegetal aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour fruit and rotten grain flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of metallic bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a below average beer with some odd fruity but vegetal aromas and flavors that make this one flirt with being undrinkable.
