22 ounce bottle. No bottling dates.

The beer pours a hazy, golden body, with darker hues on the edges. A bubbly, bone white head forms, building up high. It settles to a pool of foam with bubbles clinging to the sides.

Floral aromas of gardenias and jasmine cross the nose. A light, peppery spice is there as well, along with some citrus fruit and pine.

Floral, garden-like flavors mix with some honeyed malts. A light, citrus zest and a kiss of white pepper pop up. A moderate pine bitterness swells and rides this out to the finish, which is almost bone dry.

This is an IPA to try if you're getting a little bored with IPAs. This beer has more of an emphases on floral and herbal flavors, and has a pretty dry body for the style. Worth seeking out for sure.

Interesting beer, surprised me coming from NB. Lighter mouthfeel and body than the usual IPA's, scented with the expected IPA hoppy pine smell but weakly, IMHO. This is a refreshing beer, I would like to have more of it. There is an interesting spice flavor in the aftertaste that I cannot quite identify, but it is complimentary to the flavor whatever it is.

Pours a slightly hazed golden amber in the Saxo tulip. The head is superlative-- big without excessive foaming, and long lasting. A bubbly but light mouthfeel. A fresh, indefinable herbal scent.

The flavor instantly lets you know this is something unique. To me it tastes like alfalfa and bergamot, with a modest bitterness creeping in. The toasted malty taste and Pilsener-like flavor go well with the aromatic hops. Bitterish aftertaste with a little lime peel on the lips. Nuts in the nose. A hint of pecans and artichokes. Very drinkable, you just have to let your IPA preconceptions go on this one.

I'm glad I tried this. It's certainly educational to taste the diversity of hops beyond the grapefruit pith imitation that seems to be the goal of too many IPAs. From the 22 oz botle bought at Bine & Vine in San Diego.

Pours a finger of head on a cloudy straw colored body.
The aroma is lemon and grapefruit. Nice.
The taste is mild lemon bitterness with a little sweetness to it.
The texture is light and airy with only a little carbonation.
Great texture with nice flavor and aroma. Solid.
