Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of earthy and citrus hops, very inviting. Tastes of citrus hops with earthy notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

L: smooth fluffy head. Pretty hazy with particles visible below the head. Pours gold.
S: Hints of fruitiness, most distinctly mango or passionfruit
T: very well balanced between flavors. Initial fruitiness followed by malts and a touch of hops and biterness on the tail end.
F: very smooth. Medium carbonation
O: very drinkable and very well balanced. A crusher for sure. One of my new favorite NEIPAs.

From the can, it pours a hazy light yellow color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a dose of citrus with some grape notes. Taste is citrusy, with notes of malt. Decent brew.

These just recently went on sale at my beverage center. Dated 5/7/23, so I decided to grab some to try!

L: Pours a hazy golden with 2 fingers of fluffy white head that has moderate retention. Clusters of beautiful lacing are left behind.

S: Tropical fruits are what hit the nose first. A plethora of grapefruit, pineapple, citrus, and passion fruit is followed by mild, yet lightly sweet malt.

T: Flavors follow the nose, yet the tropical fruits and light malt blend together nicely. Very well balanced!

F: Medium-light bodied, silky smooth, but also finishes crisp and refreshing.

O: This is a great IPA! The ability to create a nice balance between malt and tropical fruit hops is greatly appreciated! Can be enjoyed in both cold and warm weather alike!

(12 oz can, 30 Apr 2023; purchased single off shelf... poured into my Trillium fat tulip)

L: marginally hazy, pale gold liquid; highly carbonated / too much tufty soft foam, sticky, resinous, slow recede, sticking at the lip... for all the sudsy pomp, the head don't hold, falling flat and frayed, lacing little

S: fruity kids cereal, pink grapefruit rind / Paloma... pan citrus overtones with floral frills of pineapple fronds and rind; touch of passionfruit?... excellent potency and expression, if missing some depth and dankness

T: tropical fruit nectar... oat(?)-laden malt milk infused with hop concentrate... too dialed in, too taut, lacking a lasting, lingering fruit thread; all hanging up front, accented by alcohol... strange, that popping grapefruit on the nose is powderized, pushed to the background while mango, soursop, and nectarine notes fight for attention

F: silky, resin-glossed, light-medium body; whisper-soft finish with a little back-end bitter twang and boozy ting to tantalize the senses... lovely but too languid a texture; needs more pulp

O: not my jam, but darn tasty... tight construct; encapsulates many of the NEIPA nuances in a refined, streamlined, more than serviceable rendering... I guess if it's affordable, it's a fine cool-weather party bev, hazy wallpaper (2095)

Hazy golden color with a moderate but lasting firm white head with some very nice lacing. The aroma is citrus, pale malt and a hint of pine. The taste is lemon, tangerine, pineapple, fresh bread. The finish dries out a bit with some lingering grapefruit and pine. the body is medium, plenty of carbonation, smooth, silky, very drinkable. Altogether, this is a nice, tasty IPA, refreshing.

The liquid is more hazy than cloudy. It has a milky white hue to the pale gold color. Mid-size head that settles slowly to film. Plenty of small spots on the glass throughout the tasting.

The smell begins with a dryer pale malt. No graininess. Subsequent whiffs bring a floral hoppiness forward.

The taste is mildly sweeter than the smell suggests. The hop is biting but not extreme or overwhelming. The body leans rich and the carbonation, while fine, is elevated. There's some tropical fruit in the finish along with black pepper. Moderate length aftertaste.
