Poured an orangish color with a nice white head. Nose is lightly citrusy, floral and almost a dry hop presence. Smelled malty as well. Taste was medium bodied, chewy almost like a calmer version of their IPA. Tasted pretty good, very drinkable and the ABV on this Pale is up there and one pint hit me pretty good.

On tap at Creekside Brewing Company in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy tan head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest. Taste is much the same with a medium hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is pretty tasty but the mouthfeel is off.

Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy gold-orange with a sticky off-white head. Citric hop aroma with light buttery popcorn as well. The flavor is solidly hoppy with light crackery malts and a bitter finish. There is some graininess and light buttery flavor as well, which is more subtle than in the aroma. Medium bodied with a light oily feel. Noticeable diacetyl is really bringing down what would be a very nice pale ale. I thought I could get past it at first, but I would definitely never get this again. Hopefully future batches avoid this problem.
