Time to change the yeast out as the lemony bite is too harsh

I got this beer from tzieser. Thanks Tom!

22oz bottle served in a weizen glass.

L - clear amber color with a off-white head that thinned out to a ring.

S - caramel malt and ethanol.

T - the taste starts out with sweet caramel malt and then a ethanol taste takes over.

F - medium bodied with very mild carbonation, on the verge of being flat.

O - I'm not sure how old this beer was but I only drank half a glass and then introduced it to my kitchen sink.

Poured from 22 ounce bottle into Erdinger glass. The head was small and didn't appear silky. Deep amber, maple syrup color with plenty of carbonation running up

Smell was sweet, super suble roast scent.

Sweet taste of caramel roasteded malt, slight bitterness/hop at i could taste at the back of my throat. Nice spiced flavor overall

Mouthfeel was smooth and thin, no harsh carbonation on the tongue, but left slight after taste at back of tongue.

Nice slow beer but can see the taste becoming blah after a 22oz bottle. Would definitely get again as a treat.

Looks like chocolate milk. Strong starting head, but it settles to rim bubbles. A few spots of lace are left on the glass.

Sour nose with a toasted malt background. Low wheat and a modicum of yeast.

Not so dark nor so wheaty on the tongue, but these tastes are the strongest. Neutral body with an elevated level of carbonation. No real flaws, but not very interesting either.

This is a respectable Dunkelweizen, not brilliant, but respectable. It pours a slightly bright amber color, which isn't characteristic for the style as this should be a touch more dirty water, cloudy, brown. The beer is plenty carbonated, with not much head or retention, no lace at all. The beer is a bit more full bodied than you typically find in the style, with just enough of a coarse mouthfeel to let you know that this is a wheat beer. There is a bit more caramel in the taste than I expected, more sweet malts too, some cloying malty notes, definitely crystal malts at play here. The is a touch of floral texture to the beer, with a slightly syrupy consistency, a slightly musty finish, but still relatively sweet throughout. This is a decent, not brilliant.

Pours cloudy brown red with off white head
Smells like a mix of cloves and dark malts, some coffee, chocolate.
Taste is dark and fruity with muted banana undertones coming through, yeast has a noticeable presence. Nothing too crazy
Mouthfeel is nice, drinkable, good level of spiciness, and solid finish. Brown and maybe slightly too bubbly
Overall solid beer, might have been better a bit earlier

22oz brown bomber with no freshness date.

LOOK: Clear copper, decent head

SMELL: Taffy, ripe fruit, caramel, yeast, alcohol, vague spice, fresh bread

TASTE: Creamy, slick, caramel, toasted bread, mild spice, green plantians, melon rind, ripe plums, faint carob, chicory, warming alcohol, semi-dry finish

A pretty big wheat beer and of the dark kind too boot, bordering on a Weizenbock IMO. Well rounded, balanced and pretty drinkable. Worth a go.

22oz bottle served in a standard shaker pint.

pours a slightly cloudy, copper/amber tone yielding 1 to 1 and 1/2" light tan head... middling retention as it lapses with some haste into a collar around the glass; patchy lacing. nose is of so-so strength, offering notes of wheat, caramel and roasted malt, and maybe a touch of spice... also has a vague fruity element to it.

taste delivers more caramel maltiness out front, along with a touch of roastiness. that vague, sweet fruit-like character pulls through as a secondary note but i can't quite put my finger on it. finish is dry, with a perceptible presence of hops. reasonably tasty. medium-bodied mouthfeel with average carbonation.

overall it's a solid beer, tasty and enjoyable. it won't knock your socks off by any means but i'd say it's a keeper.
