On tap at Kickback's Gastropub in Jacksonville, FL.

Pours a clear light amber, with no head or lacing, as one would expect with a 19% beverage.

This smells really sweet and honey-ish, with some slightly stinging booze, apricot, honey, molasses, and pure sugar.

This is absolutely insane. The 19% is not felt as strongly as one would expect for something like this, but it's still definitely there, and provides a slight astringency and massive warmth to the taste. There's tons of honey and molasses, spices, and a little bit of hibiscus. This is intensely sweet on the finish.

This is fairly light bodied for the ABV and heft, with a sticky, syrupy, almost flat mouthfeel. The carbonation levels are exceedingly low.

This is an insane mead/beer. It's a mead made with hops, but the hops aren't noticeable. It tastes really great, but it's hard to get through a ton of it.

I tried this beast cool and warm. It is good around 50-55 degrees F. Honey and Booze galore. It gave me a very powerful feeling in the mouth. I warmed some up to roughly 180 degrees F as the serving suggestions suggested, 'Winter Warmer'. Being January in Illinois and snowing today, this appealed to me. Flavors are much more blended and smooth. The after taste is easy with hibiscus and maybe a bit hoppiness. I like it better warm. Very good.

One of the most incredible experiences. I love beer, not wine, but I idolize this gift from the gods. I've had it on tap and out of the bottle. I absolutely canNOT wait for my next encounter!
