Chain style pizza place in a huge shopping center.
They had Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale on tap when I was there just before Christmas, major kudos.
About 15 taps to choose a from.
Good service from Wait Staff.
The pizza and the salad I had were very good. I'd definitely return

One of my favorite places for pizza and they have a decent beer selection. Occasionally they do have casks and have a beer dinner every once in a while but I haven't had a chance to make a dinner as my wife seems to work every night that they do. They usually have a good selection of local beers on tap and you can get some free stuff by drinking beer with their beer club. I've always had great service there and most of the managers know me by name. They always very fresh beer and great pizza and pasta. The atmosphere is pretty chill and they have really good beer specials Monday through Thursday. Worth a stop for some beer and some pretty decent pizza. Beer prices are reasonable and I usually always get something on special so it is usually $2-3 for a pint.

Brixx is set amid the sprawling Briar Creek shopping/dining district. The interior is nice enough but nothing beyond "clean" and "comfortable". There's an outdoor patio for seating in the warmer months. Not overly "family" oriented, but that was the crowd on this particular night.

The draft list is about 23 deep, featuring a solid selection of quality if commonplace craft beer. A few locals are featured, as well as a rotating special - Skull Coast Maelstrom at the time of my visit. Chilled pint glasses, ftl.

It was a relatively early dinner so we split the pasta pomodoro - it was just fine...light with good flavors, pasta cooked well, and not sauce-heavy.

Nothing special about the service - sitting at the bar, the game was pretty much to flag somebody down when something was needed - no consistency. Staff were somewhat indifferent.

Certainly worth a stop if you need a meal in the area, but don't seek it out.

This is one of my favorite places to drink. They have something like 32 taps with quality beer from all over. Some great locals like Big Boss, Highland and Red Oak. Also Magic Hat, Terrapin, Bell's, Flying Dog, Rogue, Harpoon, Victory and others. They also have one or two special bottles that change regularly.

They have great specials. For example: Monday, $1.95 domestics. Thursday, $2.50 imports. Each week night after 10pm, pizza and appetizers are buy-one-get-one.

Speaking of pizza, their thin-crust pizzas are exceptional. They have many very creative options.

The service has always been very good.

If you haven't been to a Brixx (there are several other locations including Chapel Hill and Greensboro), check it out. I dare say that nearly everyone can find a beer to love on the Brixx list, but you'll pay the going rate for a B*d. How can you go wrong?
