Picked up a 6 pack, the name was most certainly the decisive factor, I mean who doesn't like a bare ass blonde?

Smooth tasting, drank from the bottle. I was pleased with this.

My cousin gave me a six-pack of this one - thanks! 12 oz bottle into a wine glass.

Appearance: Pours a golden color. The head is a finger high, with a white shade and terrible retention. Minimal lacing is left behind.

Smell: Compared to other blonde ales, this does a very good pilsner impersonation. Grassy, earthen hops are set against a canvas of cracker-like malt. Touches of white grape also appear. Y'know, this smells quite good - six packs from DuClaw tend to be...well, not, but this genuinely has a nice aroma.

Taste: Since it's a blonde ale, it's rather simple. It starts off with some crackery, slightly grainy malts, and it ends with touches of floral, earthy hops. Certainly nothing special, but it gets the job done.

Mouthfeel: While it has good carbonation and a crisp bite, I feel like it has too much body for its flavor profile. Basically, this bare ass is flabby. At least it's pretty drinkable.

Overall: The aroma showed promise, but at the end of the day, it's just another non-descript blonde ale. No zing whatsoever, but no flaws either. Just like I said about the flavor profile (which is practically 90% of the experience), it gets the job done at the end of the day. Too bad other beers on the market are better at getting said job done...

3.12/5: An unassuming bare ass...hey, at least it's better than a gigantic bare ass loaded with cellulite pockmarks

Draft: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of clean cereal notes with light sweet notes. Taste is also a well balanced mix of clean cereal notes with light sweet undertones and a crisp dry finish. Body is about average for style with medium carbonation. This is not a style I usually enjoy but I thought the example here was well brewed with a very high drinkability level.
