Brewed with lactose, London Ale III yeast, and Mosaic & Lemon Drop hops, soured with Lactobacillus Delbrueckii and fermented on top of fresh Yuzu citrus fruits, this brew blurs the lines between IPA, sour ale and fruited ale.

A high octane kettle sour (7.2%) with lemon flavor. Glad it’s classified on here as a Wild ale and not IPA because it’s definitely not an IPA. Not quite sure this beer works for me.

What is it with DuClaw and these tart brews?
It's a nice looking beer, the head is perfectly white, with a smell that has a lightly sweet lemon scent. That's about all that I can say that I enjoyed. The mouthfeel was terribly astringent and the taste was full-frontal tart. I have no doubt there are some that enjoy this, I'm just not part of that crowd...

12 oz can poured into a wine glass. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a rocky head that fades away fairly quickly. Aroma and flavor are moderately tart lemon and other citrus (must by the yuzu), slight hoppiness, and some malt sweetness. Well-balanced and more on the fruited sour side of the spectrum - not very IPA-like. Overall it is tasty and fairly unique.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with large wisps of white bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sour lemons are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has sour flavors of lemons with hints of lactobacillus.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite easy to drink and has nice lemony aromas and flavors.
Serving type: can

L: Pours a nice clear yellow. Minor head, no lacing on the rim but some is apparent on the surface.
S: Smells lemony and citrusy. I'm picking up hops, malt, and yeast too.
T: Lemonade from the Fairgrounds. Tart, sour, then finally sweet on the finish.
F: Light in body, smooth and crisp. This can evaporates in no time.
O: Excellent! I'd recommend it 100%
