I have been ordering from the Rebel Brewer online store for a while and have been very impressed. Order notification happens immediately, orders are shipped same day, and arrive very quickly. Everything in the shipment is very carefully packed and organized. Prices are good and selection is great. They often have hops, yeast, and grain that many of the other, larger stores don't have.

When I found this place the first thing that impressed me was the huge selection. I was able to find every hop and every grain I was looking for. If the whole cone hop wasn't available then the pellet version was. I imagine they sometimes run out of popular items, but for a first impression making a huge double IPA they hit it out of the park. I ordered everything on a Tuesday and to my surprise after paying their lowest shipping option I recieved the goods the very next day. Everything I ordered was there, fresh, and in good shape. The quality was fresh and made an excellent beer. The prices were very reasonable, but the shipping as prompt as it was, jumped the price up a bit much. Overall, great! I'm sticking with these guys.

As I became more and more picky in the quality and selection of my grains and hops I graduated from other Homebrew suppliers to Rebel.

Initially I started using Rebel as a regular supplier of Crisp Malts, over time I began to appreciate the larger variety of malts and whole hops. They also have an extensive selection of equipment and I rarely cannot find what I am looking for.

The only issues I have had is with Yeasts. They often seem to have a limited supply. I have on 3 occasions wanted two yeast pack, and only 1 was available. Also I have had times when the yeast I was looking for was not available. Not sure is this is bad luck or they don't stock a lot of yeast??

Prices are good however shipping is expensive and makes the pricing just ok. I like that if I order early in the week I have my brewing materials in time for the weekend always.

So, I recently bought a brew belt from RebelBrewer because it was the best price that I could find. I was reluctant to do business with a web vendor that isn't very well known (ie Amazon). Nevertheless, I placed my order on Jan 17 and paid the company via paypal. My order arrived on Jan 19th in a nicely padded box in its original packaging. I could not be happier with the service and will definitely do business with these folks again. I wish them a lot of success, because this is the best experience I've had with an online vendor, ever!

I really can't say I have had a better experience than with Rebel Brewer. I placed an order and my card wasn't accepted, but I sent an email and got a response immediately. I was able to purchase everything I needed for the recipe I was planning to brew and the box came within a few days. The website is so well done I think it might be the easiest I have navigated online - with the option to compare pricing on different ingreidients. They are definitely worth repeat business - about all I can say, check em out!

I have made about 10 purchases from Rebel Brewer to date. I am lucky that I have the option of local pick-up, which makes the already cheap prices the best in the country for me.

This store is based in a warehouse style setting, and does all its sales through its website. There is no cash kept on premises, and so the store itself is not retailed zoned - making for extra savings for the consumer. Even for walk-in sales, a terminal is set up for secure debit and credit-card based transactions that are then processed immediately.

Over the past year, Tom (the owner) has added great staff members. Everyone knows their brewing exceptionally well - I have no hesitations in asking help with recipe formualations or about choice ingredients. Tom is also a BJCP certified judge, and can always help troubleshoot errors in your finished product(s). The entire staff is always non-hesitant to offer you their own wares kept on tap at the store.

There is a huge warehouse in the back area that houses all the grain. Everything is packed well. Yeast, hops, and grain have always been fresh (twice I have gotten Wyeast products that have a production date only 1-2 weeks prior). They reportedly carry the largest selection of grain of any homebrew shop, and their equipment selection is top-notch as well.

I recommend RB for any brewer in Nashville as well as their mail-order service for anyone outside driving distance. It is a fantastic store that I will always continue to do business with.

Very quick service and good prices. I just received my first order today. They were one of the few places I found that carried the new smoked malt from Briess. The shipping charges were reasonable and my order arrived quickly.

The selection is great - there wasn't anything that I needed that I couldn't find. I do appreciate the fact that they carry both White Labs and WYeast brands of yeast.

Also - the owner wrote on my packing slip that he was curious what I was doing with 16lbs of smoked malt, but whatever it was he wanted to try it. That gave me a good laugh. Personalized service - I like it!

I will definitely order from them again.
