Thanks to AmericanBrew for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a great mix of wheat, lemons, oranges and some Belgian yeast. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of orange, lemon and peach notes, as well as some yeast, wheat and the slightest bit of funk. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A very drinkable saison.

Birra Toccalmatto "Sibilla"
33 cl. brown glass bottle, "Best Before: 11/05/17"
4,20€ @ Domus Birrae, Via Cavour, 88, Roma, 00184

Sibilla pours a hazy golden body beneath a short head of creamy bright white that holds exceptionally well. Tiny bubbles can be seen streaming steadily upwards. Unfortunately, the lacing is not quite as good as the rest of its appearance, although it does leaves some wide craggy streaks and splashes.

In the nose you'll find chalky yeast, golden fruits, and a suggestion of white pepper.

The flavor is similar, based around a sweetish golden malt with additional notes of clove, and a coriander-like spiciness. A moderate bitterness backs it, leaving it sweetish, but still dry and lightly spicy in the finish.

The mouthfeel is light and smooth across the palate with a light-medium body and very fine, seemingly natural moderate carbonation.

Sabille is proof that Italy can produce top-notch, world class beers.

At beodo craftbeer bar, seville. With carrillera. Very soft, drinkable and nice tasting saison. Reminded me of wheat, although it only has barley according yo its label.
