Born from our passion for experimentation, our Briney Melon Gose boasts a thirst-quenching tartness that is perfectly balanced by subtle watermelon flavors and aromas. Gentle additions of sea salt create a refreshing harmony between the acidity and fruity sweetness leading to clean, dry finish.

This is a great low alchohol summer beer it really quenches your thirst and is neither too sour or too sweet and the little bit of saltiness is perfect when you've been building up a sweat working on a hot day.

The taste evolves from tart with a nice melon-rind flavor, to briney/a little salty, to sweet in each sip. It bursts with melon flavor in the beginning of the sip and burst again with brininess upon swallowing, and the sweetness comes mainly as an aftertaste. Over time I noticed the brininess dominating more and more as I drank the beer and my palate adjusted to it.

It feels pretty crisp initially, but leaves behind a sort of syrupy sweet coating in your mouth which I didn't love, but it doesn't really worsen the experience. The evolution of the flavors is very enjoyable; it taste intentional and high quality. Overall really enjoyable gose if you're in the mood.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a 10 oz. fluted Bangkok Beer glass with tons of fluffy foam that filled almost 1/2 the glass. Clear straw color with visible carbonation and little to no lacing. Aroma is tart & fruity with the melons predominant. Taste is light and tart with hints of the briney melon present and a tart clean salty finish. Light in body and totally refreshing. Can polish off several of these on a hot summer day and not even notice it. Delicious!

Look: Lightly opaque yellow with pink hues and the head quickly settles to a film, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Coriander, salt, watermelon, lactobacillus tartness, and wafts of grain
Taste: Starts off with a huge punch of sour watermelon that puckers the tongue upon first contact and relents some as salt and coriander follow suit. The middle part is all fruity and lacto until the salt returns to close it out
Mouthfeel: Light but not watery, medium-high carbonation, and a strongly tart finish
Overall: This is good stuff. I love a Gose when it’s really hot out as I feel it is one of the most refreshing of all styles with the salty/sour mix and these folks have been making some good ones for years, this being my favorite as watermelon is one of my favorite fruits. Not fake tasting melon either, not sure what they used but give this a try if you like Goses and watermelon

Appearance: Close to clear gold with a medium size white head leaving slight lacing.
Aroma: Laid back with notes of melon, lemon and honey.
Taste: Tartness in the forefront followed by the sweetness of the melon. Saltiness settles in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Dry, medium bodied, well carbonated.
Overall: Watermelon seems like a good choice to balance the tart, acidic nature of the style.

Pours pale gold. A bit hazed. The aromas are very on point with this one, with brine notes present along with honeydew, cucumber and watermelon. The flavor fall a bit short, though. For all of the briny presence on the nose, there isn't much on the tongue, and the melon flavors are more vague than the aroma. Excellent mouthfeel and refreshment however. After the excellence of the Kimmie, and the blood orange and rose gose follow ups, this one is more forgettable, but still tasty on a warm evening.

12oz can, wine glass, and looks like Julian date of 21158.

Yellow, slight orange hue, with a big poofy white head that crackles for maybe a minute.

Light melon and malts. Develops to almost a watermelon syrup.

Pickled watermelon, light and fresh watermelon, low sourness. Pretty reserved with a nice natural watermelon flavor.

Light body, low carbonation, low pucker factor.

The watermelon is nice and natural layered on top of a nice gose.
