Anderson Valley Salted Caramel Porter, 6% ABV. Pours thin and light black, with a half finger tan head. Nose is - not much there, maybe a bit nutty. Taste is salt, could not detect any hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is OK, overall OK. I believe that some of the reviews for this beer are actually for the BA version since they mention bourbon nose or taste.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Pours kind of flat, small ring of beige head on dark brown body. Aroma is the best feature, chocolate nutty, some of the caramel notes. Taste is sweet, more caramel, banana and peanuts. Seems thin for the fullness of taste, sweet lingering finish.

6 oz Draft pour into a chalice; deep brown color with creamy tan half-finger head that dissipated in about 5 minutes. Toasted malts, toffee and faint bourbon tones are evident to nose. This is a medium, well balanced beer; malts, bourbon on front fall away to the toffee/caramel on back of palate.

22 oz. Bomber

Poured into a chalice a very nice dark brown color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with some bourbon notes, chocolate/toffee, some vanilla. The taste is pretty nice malty, with some chocolate/toffee notes, slight vanilla, nice touch of bourbon, some oakyness. Medium body. ABV is hidden very well. Overall, this one is surprising me, for such a low ABV.
