By adding rose hips to the boil and fresh raspberry puree at the end of fermentation, this kettle-soured beer is a mélange of flavors and aromas. With a light ruby hue, subtle raspberry fruit notes greet the nose and fall soft on the palate; tangy, hibiscus-like flavors mingle with the salty tartness of gose to create a uniquely complex and refreshing drinking experience.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger fizzy ivory head that receded to a thin collar; no lacing;

S: a little funk with a hint of raspberry;

T: follows the nose; the raspberry comes out a bit more in the middle; mild to moderate tartness throughout; slight salinity on the back half;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate to high carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: OK, but not enough raspberry;

Taster at APEX. Rose colored pour, kind of flat. Aroma is mildly fruity, some fo the grains. Taste brings the salt, sweet, bready base beer. Pretty spot on for the style.

Has every thing that I need from gose. Very light but balanced. Refreshing and wonderful for summer nights. Also comes with a touch of rose flavor.
This beer only contains 120 calories from a 12 fl oz can. So if you are in a diet or in training mode, might be another reason to try it.

Like most goses this doesn’t look too impressive. The pour reveals a faintly pinkish orange body with very little white head, which dissipates quickly, leaving no lacing.

Probably their most aromatic gose, with bold notes of tart fresh raspberry, followed by cranberry and floral rose and lavender notes. Sour lemon juice as well as hints of apricot and quince come to mind on the finish, which also serves up hints of salted wheat crackers.

The flavor has a lot more tart bitter cranberry/raspberry flavor than expected from the nose, which comes off as jammy. The palate here is only slightly sweet, and leans much more to the tart fresh berry juice side. The finish has the classic light sourness of a gose, with the signature hint of salt to balance it out.

The texture here is quite dry and crisp. It almost couldn’t be better, but I wonder if the bitterness is what makes it so crisp, or if it could be done without that, because I imagine the bitterness would be off-putting to some.

A delicious and balanced gose. A little bitter for the style, but it doesn’t bother me.

Poured from a can into a tulip.

Pours a slightly hazy orange/gold with a fast-subsiding head, but decent lacing.

The raspberry aroma is solid, but not overpowering, with a solid-for-the-style lactic sourness arriving in equal measure.

The brew hits the tip of the tongue with plenty of raspberry flavor, but it doesn't overpower, and floral notes arrive in midstream. Some interesting briny notes arrive at the end. It isn't complex, but it's solid.

The brew has a nice medium-light feel, with spectacular carbonation, and a tart, drying finish.

This is a tasty gose that doesn't let the fruit overpower it.
