This brew pub serves 12 different beers at any one time. When I was here, they had two pale ales, four IPAs and two Saisons. They like to experiment with alternative flavors. On this visit, lemongrass, ginger, watermelon, peanut butter, mint and blackberry were featured.
The staff is exceedingly pleasant and attentive.
The food was excellent. I recommend the homemade pretzels with the homemade sauces. The panini sandwiches are also very good.
If I were traveling through Wilkes-Barre again, I would definitely revisit.

Old schoolhouse converted to a kitchy brewhouse. 12 taps of varying styles from neipa to sour to stout. Service was super. Cans, growlers, and crowlers to go. No food the day I stopped in but would definitely like to try their menu.

This place is such a cool brewery! It is inside of an old school building which has been transformed into a craft beer mecca. The atmosphere is warm and intriguing, The beer menu is constantly revolving and I mean that when I say it! I went in on a Thursday in early May and loved it so much I went back on Saturday and they had 3 new beers already on tap! Every beer here is top notch and don't even get me started on the food!
The Food is all made from scratch and it is all amazing. One of my suggestions is get the handmade soft pretzels and pair it with blackberry jalapeno jam!
The servers here are all fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about everything going on with the beers and the menu!
If you are ever in the area of Wilkes-Barre, PA you need to come here!! I live in Massachusetts and I honestly would drive there for a weekend for going to Breaker Brewing Company only, It would definitely be worth the trip!

New England style IPA's are right on with the best from Tree House, Heady, and locally Funk. Strong golden Belgian style ale was also very good.

For someone who's not up this way often, I think this place is a "hidden" gem, yet it's definitely been open a while. Friendly/knowledgeable staff, historic atmosphere, and great quality beers. Since I personally hadn't heard of them before, I walked in expecting the "run of the mill" beer selection but was surprised to find two great NE IPAs and an NE Pale on the list, with a good mix of other great sounding beers. I will absolutely be coming back next time I'm nearby...

They finally got a brewpub license. They needed tables and food to get that and they do not disappoint. The menu is limited but what they offer (pannini and sandwiches, soup, etc.) is good. Two friends, Chris and Mark, began home-brewing in one of the guy's garage. Since Northeast PA is a former Anthracite coal mining region, the motif for their brewery is... coal. One of their first brews, Lunch Pail Ale (yeah, a pale ale) garnered some popularity in local pubs and things took off to the point where they needed some serious space. So... they buy a former parochial school and turn it into a brewery, thence a brew pub. They seem to be enamored of IPAs and so there are several in their Detonator Series. Many of their beers are experimental -- click around their web site and you will see some of the current ones. Two summers ago I sampled a Watermelon ale there and really enjoyed it (and I'm not a fan of fruity beers). Finally, I should say I am neither a relative nor employee.

Visited over Xmas so this review is from memory. Very nice place well worth a visit. Small but homey feel, can get crowded but isn't that part of the experience?...got a kick from single tables on the stairwell landings! Staff very friendly and knowledgable, the owners and a mom appeared to be doing the cooking and food running to the front. My wife and I had beer and food. Beers 8+ on various selections plus 8-9 sampler which we did. A couple very nice beers, a couple ok and needed a little tweeking. I'm a hophead but I thought one of the other beers was the best put together...can't remember right now which. One firkin from the stout I believe. Food was very good, homemade with some nice local touches. You will not be disappointed from a visit, I enjoyed my visit.

Great small-town local brewpub. Inside an old school building, and they kept a lot of that homely feel. You feel like you're drinking in your living room with your family, very inviting atmosphere. Can't vouch for their food as I didn't have any, but it seems to be well-liked. Their beer selection is phenomenal and changes frequently, with many one off beers served from the firkin or randall. Check it out if you're in the area, but be warned, every time I've stopped by it's been VERY busy, so the earlier the better!

Great brewery to check out. The bartender that waited on my group was suggesting blends that he would mix up right there, on the spot! Very impressive!

Still samples only. No sales of pints.
Growlers for home consumption only.
Lots of great ones on tap.
8 on tap to sample.
All seem pretty balanced, nothing appealing to fringe tastes but all capture target well.
Staff enjoyed working there, excited about the future. Great to see.
No food yet, sounds like it is in there plans.
