Been meaning to review this place. I had to come up this way for work, a few months ago. Had a big billboard up the road that said "craft beer". I "had" to stop. So glad I did!

Got Founder's Imperial Stout long after it disappeared downstate. Then saw 2 bottles of KBS in the cooler. Asked the salesclerk if they had anymore. She pulled a 4 pack out of the back for me. i told her I loved her (and I don't even know her name!)

Great place, great selection, great surprise!

UPDATE:: This place is no longer in business..

I have stopped here many many times.
The place is very small not that they dont make good use of the space that they have there just isn't enough of it.

They have a very nice selection of beer but there mark up is pretty high compared to other beer stores up here in northern Michigan (most the time a dollar or two) after realizing this i cut back from going there a few times a month to once every month or two.

They are very friendly there and have super service.

Wish that they opened earlier more like 8am instead of 9 not that that effects there score it just effects me going there.

If your going to be in the area this is a store that i would definitely recommend stopping into.

Driving down US 31 on the way to the bridge appeared before me a mirage or so it seemed... a sign proclaiming a whole bunch of beers in a store in the middle of nowhere. I had to investigate. I stopped at the business and considering the surroundings was impressed. It was also evident that the place was ran by somebody passionate about beer, as the service was very good. Another great asset was that singles were allowed, which was good for those who wanted to pick up some selections for Shorts.

If I had not loaded up before this place probably would have gotten more of my business. While it did have a strong line up of Michigan breweries, there might have been a few of the smaller bottlers that were missed. Still, it is commendable what they are doing here, and exceeds many of the areas of my state that have much larger population bases.

A great shop in a rather off the beaten path area. Stopped by on the way from Traverse City to St Ignace. I saw their sign out front exclaiming their rather impressive beer and wine selection, figuring we had to stop in!

A most impressive selection indeed, considering the location. I found a few choice gems from Leelanau Brewing. Plenty of things here to keep any beer geek happy. Plenty of Michigan microbrews and a lot of quality imports.

The guy on duty, Jason, is the beer/wine specialist and was quite helpful and talkative. Asking about our trip, chatting about our local beers he would like to get, mainly Troeg's.

A really nice place to hit when you are in the area....I am sure they have the best selection for many miles.
