A good IPA, nice clear color. Good balance between malts and hops. Higher ABV than I like. My bottle showed 8.4 ABV. I find that the IPAs I like the best are 6.o to 7.0 ABV.

Clear yellow color with plenty of white foam in the tumbler. There is a distinct apricot flavor but it's marred by the strange woody and decomposing smells. It's medium bodied and quite spritzy on the tongue. Fruity and jammy taste with a grapefruit peel finish.

Quite bitter aftertaste, like orange marmalade gone bad. This is drinkable enough for a big sugary IPA but not one I want to try again. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Market of Choice in Eugene.

12 Oz bottle. B.B. date 9/3/2019

Pours a hazy golden body with an off white head. Lots of visible carbonation. Some retention, decent speck lacing.

Smell wasn't very prominent. I had tropical fruits at the pour that faded and became a little astringent. I can smell a yeast. Combined with the hops it has a buttered popcorn scent. Some Mosaic hopes noted.

Taste followed except I taste some malts that I hadn't smelled. Slightly bitter boozy finish

Medium thin feel

Overall; Good not great. I liked it for the ABV but not as a beer to experience and taste. Probably a one and done for me.

The mystery selection from one HVs variety hop packs, purchased at Safeway in Kenmore, Washington. Best by is 9/21/19 so really fresh.

Look- Amber color with a solid 1" head in a pint glass, steady light bubbles with really nice lacing. I'm halfway through and it's still clinging from the head.

Smell- Sweet tropical fruit, some citrus, malty depth a bit of yeasty bread.

Taste- Pretty much the same with a drier finish and a bit of hop/pine kick.

Feel- Medium bodied with a decent carbonation,.

O-This is the first HV beer I have had that is straight up tropical. There's a decent mix of fruit. Never have seen it by itself here in 6 packs but it should be.

Not much foam. A bitey IPA, very prickly on the tongue, generous carbonation. Fresh hops initially, which finish with medium sourness. Bitterness lingers, but I like it. This would be awseome with a grilled burger or steak.

Amber brown with scant white head. Great aroma with complex floral and fruity notes, particularly apricot. Perfectly effervescent with balanced piney hops and mellow malt. Excellent!

22 oz bomber purchased from Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in Salem OR $4.99 No idea this was an IIPA! Pours a hazy orange colour with a thick, rocky cream coloured head. Aroma is mainly of the fruity hop variety. Orange pith, papaya and mango..there is a wee bit of that old PNW dankness..but its surrounded by fruit. Taste is very brisk! The fruit is there but also a great caramel maltiness..but it is the pine like hops that cuts through it all. Very busy taste profile. Excellent mouth feel for an IIPA..lively and well carbonated..no sickly sweet residue. I was kinda hoping this would suck..its the first beer i have had from since SAB/Miller/Coors whatever took them over..but its a real drinkable IIPA.

Bottle from WinCo. Deep glowing golden body. Thick lasting head. Initial aroma of citrus and then hops. Taste follows with more citrus, drier, tarter varieties, small hops bite. Enough of a malt backbone to hold it all together.

Clear orange with two fingers of cream color head. Nice lacing.
Smell is bold green dank hops with some citrus zest.
Taste is dank green citric herbal hop oil resinous with just enough bready malts to keep things sane.
Mouthfeel is medium with just right carbonation. Finish is dry long and bitter.
Overall a tasty and huge IPA. The IBU's are listed on the label as 121. I believe that number is correct.
