Bought a 6-pack cans $8.99 Don Quijote
Smell of citrus and pine
Clear golden color
Medium mouthfeel
Medium-high carbonation
Citrus hops taste, light bitterness, fairly clean tasting
Overall a nice beer. Not as bold as most IPAs makes it very easy drinking, smooth. Would drink again.

Poured into a tulip glass. Nice color, typical of NW IPAs in general. Slightly hazy, light head. Plenty of citrus aroma, slight yeasty background. Light on the tongue for an IPA, slightly sweet, refreshing taste. We've plenty of Pale Ales that are more an IPA; this is an IPA with a bent to PA. Easy drinking, well crafted.

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop on 5-28-18 for $1.66. Best by 11-5-18; consumed on 10-7-18.

Beer poured golden orange with a very nice white head that has some good hang time.

Nose has hints of citrus and tropical hops.

Taste is very well balanced between the mango, orange, and grapefruit blending nicely with the malt base. Finish is light tingly hops.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and lively and fresh on the palate.

Overall a nice brew, very easy drinking.

Bought this on a whim because the name matches an inside joke from my childhood (and is quite odd!) Was not expecting much.

But pleasantly surprised by this beer -- has a full west-coast IPA nose and flavor profile and probably drinks a little bigger than 6.2%. Quite refreshing and qualifies as a crusher in my book.

On tao on a hot day at the local pizzeria. Light, fruity refreshing ipa. Mango and pineapple notes up front with a juicy grapefruit finish at the end. Crisp with a light dry finish and tiny residual sweetness. Long straw aftertaste. Excellent summery ipa. Lots of bubbles and finishes lively and thirst quenching. Its hitting the spot after that hike.

12 oz. Can
BB: OCT 27 2018

Poured into a tulip a nice clean/clear dark golden orange color, with some nice carbonation, with a nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. The taste is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), piney. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

this is darn good beer! hands down, and i mean not even close, the best beer i have had from hop valley, and hopefully a sign of improved quality and freshness for their stuff in colorado, it has not been good until now. this is crazy stuff, the absolute essence of mosaic hops, more mosaic than mosaic itself, they use the cryo version i think, and if there is one beer out there to make the case for that type of hop usage, it might be this one! clear golden honey colored from the can under over an inch of airy white head in my globe, crystal clear. the nose is oily and resinous from the hops but in a way that doesnt seem to make the beer heavy. mosaic all the way, none of the cat pee thing, straight green grass and pineapple and citrus zest, and its all there in the flavor too, even more so than the nose. also uniquely, it has two climaxes, the usual hop moment right in the center, a bursting mosaic apex, but also a little later on before the finish where the oily texture of the hops comes back with another round of its amazing fruity flavor. seriously impressive. it tastes amazingly fresh, its balanced well by a simple pale malt base, and for how dry hoppy and aromatic it is, its also a little bit bitter at the end which i still like in the style despite where trends are going. i thought this was exquisite, if you like mosaic hops, do not miss this one. leagues better than my expectations set off of their other lackluster brews. this is killer!
