12 oz can from a six pack bought at "Lifesource" Salem.
$7.99 a six
Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a large frothy/bubbly white head.
Aroma is faint strains of lemon zest, hay, slight caramel and paper.
Taste mainly sweet malts..a touch of citric hop and some biscuit.
Mouthfeel is OK for the style, maybe superior to most.
Overall a nice ordinary lager.

Malty, for sure. Tastes like cereal lager all right, not a hint of any hops, just malt and cereal grain sweetness. Pale golden with lazy carbonation, small airy head, aroma of grain and cooked vegetables. Just average. I might even choose a PBR over this....

12oz can poured into shaker pint.
A — Pours a clear and straightforward yellow color into the glass. There is a white colored head that forms, but settles rather quickly into a thin soapy layer, little to no lacing left behind.
S — Smell is grainy and sweet, notes of sweet malts, pilsner malts, little bit of a crystal malt sweetness and an odd corny adjunct like aroma as well.
T — Taste is much like the nose, a sweet and lightly bitter beer. Some adjunct note in there still but can't quite figure it out. Sweet for the style though.
M — Light in body, crisp, a little bit heavy, but still refreshing enough.
O — OK overall, just seems kind of pedestrian and not as well made as it could be.

A light and refreshing beer best suited for an after-work reward when you still have to drive home. I dislike the macro lagers, but sometimes an american lager is just what you need and this is an pleasant, easy to drink alternative.
L- clear & golden colored - head unknown as I drank it straight from the can.
S - Fresh and somewhat malty
T - Pleasantly sweet and smooth with a very light touch of hops.
F - Nice carbonation and mouth feel for a light bodied beer

Clear golden brew with a thin white foam and a thin veil in the Affligem chalice. Very aromatic with perfumey hops and cereal. Fairly thick-feeling body.
Really flavorful, though surprising. It's like a Pilsener with a distinct corn taste. So sweet, which is actually quite pleasant, it's just an oddity in my experience. the aftertaste is more crisp and overall it's quite a likable, gulpable light brew. Quite tangy and the light dose of bitterness adds to the drinkability. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, Washington.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light straw amber with a thin white head that dissipates to a patches and a thin ring around the glass. Nice lager aroma of bready malt, grain and lightly citrus and floral hops. Flavor follows with mild grainy malt with a distinct corn flavor (although I don't think adjuncts are used here), mild citrus hops to finish. Light bodied. A crafty answer to macro lagers, with a little more flavor, but not really all that distinct. Pleasant like most in this style. The corn flavor is certainly odd; I've never tasted that in macros which actually do use corn. One of life's little mysteries. Not a big drinker of of light lagers, but this is harmless.

Coors quality at premium pricing.
Did they just repackage this recipe and start canning it as the Light Me Up Lager? Not sad that it's disappeared from shelves.
